Meet our operations manager

As
of 1st November 2010, Maabjerg BioEnergy has hired 51 year old
Viggo Mose as our new operations manager (COO).
Mr. Viggo Mose was selected among 40 applicants. All were highly
qualified but Viggo Mose stood out by matching the job description
point by point: Experienced in managing employees, managing
budgets, managing operations, handling purchasing of bio fuels etc.
And add to that the fact that Viggo Mose is very much
well-respected and well-liked person.
Our new operations manager is not totally unfamiliar with being a
pioneer. Quite the opposite.
20 years ago he was employed at the Måbjergværket central heating
plant (editor's note: which is situated a stone's throw from
Maabjerg BioEnergy). At the time, Måbjergværket was only a
construction site at about the same level as Maabjerg BioEnergy is
today.
After participating in the complex task of completing the
construction of Måbjergværket and getting the plant up and running,
Viggo Mose spent the following 14 years as operations engineer at
Måbjergværket and also a member of the DONG Energy technical forum
for bio fueled plants.
For now, Viggo Mose will work from an office at Vestforsyning
where he will get to know the people and processes. In the future
Vestforsyning will handle provide Maabjerg BioEnergy with support
on administrative issues.
Viggo Mose will also be working alongside mr. Poul Lyhne, head of
development at Vestforsyning, and construction site manager, mr.
Ove Vendelbo. All of them dedicated to the construction of Maabjerg
BioEnergy.
Later on, sometime during 2011, Viggo Mose will be hiring his
staff of around six or seven people to assist the operating of
Maabjerg BioEnergy. Job listings will be posted at our website and
in local media.
